Seasonal Employer Certification Update:  For this year, the Department of Unemployment Assistance (DUA) will interpret the regulations as they have done in the past.  Under a provision of the regulations, DUA can re-determine applications – for those camps that have already applied and received their denials, DUA will issue approvals (assuming they meet the criteria used in previous years).   It is highly encouraged that all camps apply prior to the 60 day requirement – so if they’re within the 60 day window now and have not applied, they need to do so ASAP.
